  1. Moong  1 cup
  2. Onion   2 (medium)
  3. tomato  2
  4. ginger garlic paste  2 tbsp
  5. Cumin seed  1 tsp
  6. Mustard seed   1 tsp
  7. Red chili   2
  8. Bay leaves  2
  9. Coriander powder  1 tbsp
  10. Garam masala powder  1 tbsp
  11. Vegetable oil   2 tbsp
  12. Coriander leaves

Steps of preparation

  1. Soak  moong for 3-4 hours.
  2. In a preessure cooker pour some oil. Add jeera seed, mustard seed, red chili and some bay leaves.
  3. Add chopped onion to it. Fry it for sometime.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste to it. Again fry it for 5 minutes.
  5. Add all spices written above in the ingerdients. Fry them for sometime.
  6. Add chopped tomato and cook them for another 3-4 minues.
  7. Add 1 cup of water and garam masala powder.
  8. Close the lid and cook for one whistle.
  9. Lastly garnish with green coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, chapati.
