- Moong 1 cup
- Onion 2 (medium)
- tomato 2
- ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Cumin seed 1 tsp
- Mustard seed 1 tsp
- Red chili 2
- Bay leaves 2
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
- Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves
Steps of preparation - Soak moong for 3-4 hours.
- In a preessure cooker pour some oil. Add jeera seed, mustard seed, red chili and some bay leaves.
- Add chopped onion to it. Fry it for sometime.
- Add ginger garlic paste to it. Again fry it for 5 minutes.
- Add all spices written above in the ingerdients. Fry them for sometime.
- Add chopped tomato and cook them for another 3-4 minues.
- Add 1 cup of water and garam masala powder.
- Close the lid and cook for one whistle.
- Lastly garnish with green coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, chapati.
