Ingredients

  1. Potatoes  4
  2. Green peas(matar)   1 cup
  3. Chopped onion   2
  4. Ginger garlic paste  1 tbsp
  5. Chopped tomato   2
  6. Cumin powder    1 tbsp
  7. Coriander powder   1 tbsp
  8. Garam masala powder  1 tbsp
  9. Turmeric powder    1 tbsp
  10. Cumin seed   1 tsp
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. Vegetable oil   3 tbsp
  13. Coriander leaves for garnish

Steps of preparation

  1. Boil potatoes.  When done peel it off and cut it into four pieces.
  2. In a pan heat oil. Add cumin seed and red chili.
  3. Add chopped onion and ginger garlic paste.
  4. Add turmeric powder and all other spices and stir. Fry it on medium flame till it releases oil.
  5. Add  chopped tomato and fry 5 minutes.
  6. Add green peas and cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Add  potato and mix them. Cook for 5 minutes and then pour 1 cup of water.
  8. Add garam masala powder and cook for 2-3 more minutes.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves  and enjoy with chapati or rice.
