Ingredients - Potatoes 4
- Green peas(matar) 1 cup
- Chopped onion 2
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Chopped tomato 2
- Cumin powder 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
- Cumin seed 1 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Vegetable oil 3 tbsp
- Coriander leaves for garnish
Steps of preparation - Boil potatoes. When done peel it off and cut it into four pieces.
- In a pan heat oil. Add cumin seed and red chili.
- Add chopped onion and ginger garlic paste.
- Add turmeric powder and all other spices and stir. Fry it on medium flame till it releases oil.
- Add chopped tomato and fry 5 minutes.
- Add green peas and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add potato and mix them. Cook for 5 minutes and then pour 1 cup of water.
- Add garam masala powder and cook for 2-3 more minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy with chapati or rice.
