Ingredients - Rajma 1 cup
- Onion finely chopped 2
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Tomato chopped 2
- Cumin seed 1tsp
- Red chili 2
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Rajma masala 1tbsp
- Red chili powder 1tsp
- Garam masala powder 1tbsp
- Butter 1tbsp
- Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
- Salt as per taste
- Coriander leaves
Steps of preparation - Wash and soak rajma overnight. Boil it in a pressure cooker. Wait for 1 whistle. Turn off the gas. If you are not able to soak rajma for overnight then boil it till 3 whistles. Add some salt while boiling.
- In a pan heat oil. Add cumin seed and red chili. When cumin seeds splutter add chopped onion.
- Add ginger garlic paste and stir. Fry it for 5 minutes on medium flame.
- Add coriander powder, rajma masala and chili powder. Keep on stiring.
- Add salt according to taste. Add chopped tomatoes. Cook it for 6-7 minutes.
- Now add boiled rajma with water and mix. Add garam masala powder. Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Ganish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or chapati.
