I am sharing with you meta tag verification plugin for joomla. I have tested this plugin on 1.5.9 version of joomla i.e. on this site. This works well for creating meta tags for google, yahoo, msn and netinsert verification. Just click on install/uninstall on extensions menu and upload this file and it will get installed. After that you need to visit plugins manager on extension menu and you will be able to find System - METATAGVerify plugin there. Click on that and set the contents for each of them. Please let me know if you know of other directory services and/or search engines which uses similar kind of verification.
