Ingredients

  1. Potato  3
  2. Cauliflower  1 medium size
  3. Chopped onion  2
  4. Chopped tomato  2
  5. Ginger garlic paste  2 tbsp
  6. Cumin powder  1 tbsp
  7. Coriander powder  2 tbsp
  8. Haldi powder  1 tbsp
  9. Red chili powder  1 tbsp
  10. Cumin seed  1 tsp
  11. Red chili  2
  12. Garam masala powder  1 tbsp
  13. Vegetable oil  3-4 tbsp
  14. Salt as per taste
  15. Green coriander leaves for garnishing

Steps of preparation

  1. Cut potatoes into small pieces. Wash and drain. Keep it aside.
  2. Cut cauliflower into pieces. Wash and drain properly. Heat oil in the pan and fry cauliflower till tender. Add some salt  while frying. Make sure cauliflowers are bit dried while putting in the pan.
  3. Take cauliflower out and keep it aside. Leave the rest oil in pan. Add cumin seed and red chili. When it pops add chopped onion. Fry it for 3-4 minutes
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and stir. Fry it for another 3 minutes.
  5. Add haldi powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and stir it. Fry it 6-7 minutes.
  6.  Add chopped tomato and stir. Now add chopped potatoes to it. Add salt and red chili powder. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Add fried cauliflower and stir. Add 1cup of water and garam masala powder. Cook for 3 minutes or till done.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapati or rice.
