Ingredients

  1. Rajma  1 cup
  2. Onion finely chopped 2
  3. Ginger garlic paste  2 tbsp
  4. Tomato chopped   2
  5. Cumin seed  1tsp
  6. Red chili   2
  7. Coriander powder  1 tbsp
  8. Rajma masala   1tbsp
  9. Red chili powder  1tsp
  10. Garam masala powder  1tbsp
  11. Butter   1tbsp
  12. Vegetable oil   2 tbsp
  13. Salt as per taste
  14. Coriander leaves

Steps of preparation

  1. Wash and soak rajma overnight. Boil it in a pressure cooker. Wait for 1 whistle. Turn off the gas. If  you are not able to soak rajma for overnight then boil it till 3 whistles. Add some salt while boiling.
  2. In a pan heat oil. Add cumin seed and red chili. When cumin seeds splutter add chopped onion.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and stir. Fry it for 5 minutes on medium flame.
  4. Add coriander powder, rajma masala and chili powder. Keep on stiring.
  5. Add salt according to taste. Add chopped tomatoes. Cook it for 6-7 minutes.
  6. Now add boiled rajma with water and mix. Add garam masala powder. Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes.
  7. Ganish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or chapati.
